World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of items is a crucial part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and the enchantments of items.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. They can be acquired by contacting the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapons
When the weapon is upgraded it gains a base damage bonus as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon may also gain a variety of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects as well as unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot and that it meets certain specifications. Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to improve specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. Many of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects vary depending on the quality of the weapon.

Generally, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon prior to upgrading other equipment. This will increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments, which can be very efficient in increasing the damage of a weapon and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain armor pieces trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to affect the dungeon and increase the likelihood of generating water and grass. At the moment, this trinket makes X% of floors fill with water or grass, but it doesn't affect enchantments, the glyphs, cursed weapons, armor, or items generated to aid in the elimination of hazards.
This item, which appears like eyes of a newt is believed to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond just reducing your field-of-view. At the moment, this trinket boosts the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X%. It also grants the ability to see enemies within Y tiles. This does not stack with Heightened Senses.
After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you have a trinket which needs to be upgraded then place it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will cause an unintended effect on the trinket either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the Trinket as often as you want however it will always be able to produce a new effect.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
